During Monday evening's Ridgway Borough Council meeting, Dale Fox, president of Ridgway's Heritage Council, signed up to speak in response to the recently-announced possibility of the condemnation of the Bogert House, located at 140 Main St.
According to borough manager Kim Zimmerman, due to multiple code violations and lack of progress with renovations, the borough may seek to have the building condemned.
"We've worked together since 1997 with a great relationship with the borough council and the Ridgway Heritage Council," she said. "Since 1997 – we've been adding up the numbers for a number of reasons – we can already attribute over $10 million of investment that has occurred in this town because of these relationships of cooperative teamwork in many areas."
