Former RFD treasurer charged with embezzlement awaits trial

The former treasurer of the Ridgway Fire Department (RFD), currently awaiting trial on charges that he misappropriated more than $14,000 from the department through his position, is arguing that his actions were caused in part by early-onset Alzheimer's Disease.
