ST. MARYS – On Tuesday morning Fr. Philip M. Oriole, executor of the estate of Monsignor John B. Hagerty, was on hand at Elk County Catholic High School to present a check in the amount of $120,000 to be used for tuition assistance and scholarships. While the check represents the bulk of the amount ECC will be receiving from the estate of Hagerty, a former headmaster at the school, Oriole noted that he will be returning later in the year once the estate is completely wrapped up to present an additional check.
