Foreseeable future has Main Street meters

March 13, 2014

On the agenda at Monday's Ridgway Borough Council meeting will be the placement and enforcement of 66 parking meters along Main Street in downtown Ridgway.
According to borough manager Kim Zimmerman, the meters will most likely be enforced from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., however, the very placement of those meters goes against his recommendation to council.
"For the most part, during business hours the complaints I’m hearing are store employees parking in front of a different store, that’s where this is coming from," he said.
