Fire breaks out at Allegheny Coatings facility

An early Saturday afternoon fire damaged an Allegheny Coatings facility site along River Road in Ridgway. The fire reportedly originated at 12:08 p.m. when an employee at ARC Metals, a neighboring industrial facility, observed heavy smoke coming from the Allegheny Coatings building.

The fire reportedly originated at 12:08 p.m. when an employee at ARC Metals, a neighboring industrial facility, observed heavy smoke coming from the Allegheny Coatings building.
The site, a 48-foot by 180-foot steel frame industrial building, is a secondary location and was positioned across the street from the main Allegheny Coatings facility.
