EPA hears opposition to Seneca 'injection well'

JAMES CITY – The federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) heard adamant opposition Tuesday against a proposed "injection well" for the disposal of drilling fluids.
The EPA held a public hearing at the Highland Township Fire Hall in James City to gather input on a permit application from Seneca Resources to convert a low-producer well on Lamont Road to an "injection well."
