Elkers fend off Wolves

January 11, 2014

Josh Roselli splits a pair of Kane defenders during a 44-29 win over the Wolves Friday night. Roselli had 23 points to lead all scorers.

Ridgway boys basketball used a late run in the second half to overtake Kane 44-29 in action Friday night at Ridgway Area High School.
The Wolves would not go away for the first three quarters, trailing just 28-21 starting the fourth quarter.
"Kane came in here, they're well-coached, they're ready to go," Ridgway coach Anthony Allegretto said. "Coach Gasbarre is doing a great job with them. They have a new attitude, they really hustled, they played hard the whole way. We couldn't shake them. That's a pretty good ball club there."
