Elizabeth “Betty” Bauer Larkin Farmer

Elizabeth “Betty” Bauer Larkin Farmer, 75, passed away in her home, surrounded by loved ones, on Mon., Jan. 30, 2012.
Born in Driftwood, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Frances Bauer. A longtime resident of Cameron County, she also lived in Hawaii, Okinawa, Japan, and Falls Church, Va. She retired to Virginia Beach after working for over 20 years as a bank teller at what was originally Bucktail Bank & Trust. She will be remembered for her smile, her kindness, and the infectious laughter she brought into our lives.
Betty was predeceased in death by her parents; her son, Bob Larkin; and her brother, Guy Bauer.
She is survived by her son, Dan Larkin and wife, Alice, of Ridgway; her daughter, Valerie Larkin Wilkinson and husband, Brian, of Virginia Beach, Va.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank all of her doctors, nurses, and hospice caregivers for the love and support they provided.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat., March 10, at the 1st United Methodist Church, 306 South Spruce St., Emporium, PA 15834. Her daughter will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sat., Feb. 4 at her home, 3869 Larchwood Dr., Virginia Beach, Va. 23456.
