Edwin K. Galbreath Jr.

Edwin K. Galbreath Jr., age 74, of New Castle, died Tuesday morning, Aug. 6, 2013 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
Edwin was born March 21, 1939 in Wellsville, N.Y., son of Edwin K. Galbreath Sr. and Sybil L. Pytcher Galbreath.
He is survived to his wife, Pat Carnahan Galbreath, whom he married on May 21, 1960.
Edwin was a graduate of Ridgway High School. He was the owner of Galbreath Motors Co. and Mobility. Edwin was a member of the New Castle Rotary, was a car enthusiast, and a drummer. He enjoyed golfing, boating, dining with friends and family, and spending time with his dog. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Debbie Pisor and her husband, Tom, of Louisville, Ky.; one son, Tom Galbreath and his wife, Lori, of Bloomingdale, Ohio; one sister, Carolyn McDaniels and her husband, Pat, of Ridgway; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren with one more on the way.
He was preceded in death, besides his parents, by one son, Edwin K. Galbreath III; and one granddaughter, Megan Galbreath.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Rd., New Castle. A funeral service will take place Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Rick Helsel will be officiating. Burial will be in Northeast Cemetery.
