Edmund L. “Emmy” Moline
Edmund L. “Emmy” Moline, age 91, died Oct. 18, 2012 in Port Charlotte, Fla.Ed was predeceased by his parents, David and Edna Moline, and sisters Stella, Rosie, and Kathy. He is survived by his sister Peachy; his wife of 66 years Dorothy (Dot); his children, Jeanne (Joe) Scheuerman, E. Robert (Susan), Debra (Kevin Betts), and Dennis (Regina); grandchildren Matt (Jaki) Trombley, Stephanie (Mario) Tripp, Ryan Moline, Stacey Rae Moline, Andrew Moline, Michael Lungo, Cassidy Lungo, Brian Antes and Zachary Tripp; nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Ed was a proud member of the Civilian Conservation Corp. and the U.S. Army, having served four years overseas during World War II. He had more than 40 years of service as an auto mechanic in Rochester and was dedicated to his Chrysler Corporation customers. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and shared those passions with his brothers-in-law, sons, and grandchildren. He was born in Shawmut, and Ed and Dot (Strauss) lived in Ridgway, during their early married life before moving to West Webster, N.Y. in 1955 where they lived for 40 years before retiring in Edgewater, Fla. and finally Port Charlotte, Fla. He touched the lives of many and will be missed by his family, many relatives and friends. A private memorial service was held at Calvary Baptist Church in Englewood, Fla.
