E. Tom Wolff, 65, of 4172 Grant Rd., Ridgway, died unexpectedly Thursday morning at his residence.
He was born Dec. 26, 1945 in Ridgway, son of the late Clarence H. (Pug) and Ruby M. (Amacher) Wolff.
He married Judy L. Ecklund on Sept. 30, 1967. She survives.
He had resided in Ridgway all of his life and was a member of the Faith United Church of Christ, the Ridgway Elks, the Ridgway Eagles, the Ridgway Fire Department - Laurel Hook and Ladder, a past member of the Ridgway Township Water Authority, and a past member of the Elk County Solid Waste Authority. He was a graduate of the Ridgway High School, Class of 1966. He had also been employed by Dickinson Mental Health for 10 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, James T. Wolff and his wife Rebecca of Ridgway, Jeffrey A. Wolff of Ridgway, and Joseph U. Wolff of Ridgway; 10 grandchildren, Brittany, Brianna, Gabrielle, Alan, Andrew, Ryan, Nathaniel, Matthew, Samuel, and Hannah; two sisters, Ruby Hoehn and her husband William of Gainesville, Fla. and Cynthia Bujold of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister at birth.
A memorial service for E. Tom Wolff will be held at the Faith United Church of Christ on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. J. Stephen Fair, pastor of the Faith United Church of Christ.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
