Dutch wrestlers down Ridgway Elkers, 58-13

Ridgway's Zac McKnight puts St. Marys Area's Tyler Yetzer to the mat during their 145-pound bout last night at the St. Marys Area High School Dutch Oven.

The St. Marys Area Flying Dutch wrestling team raised their dual-match record to 2-1 on the season with a 58-13 victory over the Ridgway Elkers Thursday night at the SMAHS Dutch Oven.
The Dutchmen recorded two pins, six forfeits, a major decision and two decisions to account for their points last night.
"I thought we wrestled pretty good tonight," said St. Marys coach Dominic Surra."I thought we wrestled to our abilities. I thought Bill Gabor did a nice job at 160 against Sheesley." .
"We're going to move on. We wrestle DuBois on Tuesday in a big District 9 match," added Surra.
