David L. “Keppy” Kephart

David L. “Keppy” Kephart, 68, of 139 Lynch Rd., St. Marys, died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born October 7, 1943 in Clearfield, son of the late Robert D. and Mary Vena Landsberry Kephart.
On September 23, 1995 in St. Marys, he married Patricia A. Breindel, who survives.
Mr. Kephart was a graduate of DuBois Area High School, Class of 1962. He was also a graduate of the Hiram-Walker Vocational School in Johnstown for electronics. He had been a resident of St. Marys since 1965. He was a former employee of the former Hoy’s Radio Service in St. Marys and then was the owner of the Hoy’s Appliance Repair. He was a member of the St. Marys Lions Club and enjoyed camping and playing cards.
He is also survived by three sisters, Betsy L. Kruckenberg of Clearfield, Katherine L. (Glaydon) Lucore of Penfield and Mary T. “Pum” (Glenn) Lucore of Penfield; and three brothers, James A. Kephart of DuBois, Thomas P. (Marianne) Kephart of Florida and Daniel L. (Charlene) Kephart of Penfield.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, Robert J. Kephart, Anson W. Kephart, John C. Kephart, William F. Kephart, Donald K. Kephart and one brother in infancy.
There will be no visitation.
A Mass and committal service will be held in the Sacred Heart Church at a later date.
