BROCKPORT – Sergeant Steve Daniel of the Ridgway-based state police attended Wednesday night's Horton Township Board of Supervisors meeting to address any concerns within the township.
"Things have been pretty calm relatively speaking," Daniel said. "There have been some traffic crashes and that is to be expected."
Daniel reported receiving speeding complaints.
"We had a rather big detail [Tuesday]," Daniel said. "You may have noticed when you came down to the polls that some extra police cars have been in the area. We have stepped some things up in some areas and I can't really get into the nitty-gritty of it, but we are trying to address some issues. Other than that everything looks pretty good."
In other business, bids for a trailer were rejected. The issue was tabled during last month's meeting.
