Cyclist in fatal accident is charged with DUI

WESTLINE – The operator of a motorcycle involved in a fatal accident Sunday evening on Westline Road off Route 219 has been charged with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol.
Raymond Thomas Maedl, 50, of Cuba, N.Y. was arraigned by Bradford District Judge Richard Luther, who set bail at $50,000 cash. Maedl was placed in the McKean County Jail in lieu of bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled Monday, June 2 before Kane District Judge Dave Engman.
