The Championship Wrestling Federation held the Ridgway Rumble at the Ridgway Fire Hall Saturday night in a benefit fundraiser for the Bodien Family.
The 7-match card was highlighted with a main event which saw "The Solution" Scott Fowler capture his first CWF Heavyweight Championship with a victory over Brock Singleton. Fowler estimates he drove four or five hours to come up and wrestle, and felt the drive was worth it.
"Brock Singleton definitely gave me one of the biggest fights of my career, there's no doubt about it," Fowler said. "That was a heck of a match. That was one of the better ones I've had in a long time. I'm the new CWF world's heavyweight champion."
