The Elk County Commissioners have established a grant program to redistribute a portion of their allocation of the Act 13 Marcellus Shale Impact Fee for local projects.
“We’re really excited to develop this as a way to get our pot of that Act 13 money back into the community,” said Elk County Commissioner Dan Freeburg. “We thought about how to do it in a fair way and we think opening it up as an application process is a great way to get quality projects.”
