Clarence Leroy Russell Sr.

Clarence Leroy Russell Sr., age 57, of 30 Peters Road Brockport, died June 10, 2011, at Elk Regional Medical Center in St. Marys.
He was born May 26, 1954, in Bradford, son of Richard and Mary Smith Russell. On Dec. 31, 1985, he married April Davis, she survives.
He was a member at the Brockport United Methodist Church and was a member of the Horton Township Sportsmens Club, Brockport Army/Navy Club and Horton - Brockway Area Lions Club. He also served as a Boy Scout Leader for many years. Clarence enjoyed fishing and had been previously been employed as a laborer at Metco in St. Marys. Clarence was a member of the National Guard for over 13 years.
He is survived by his wife, April Russell of Brockport; one daughter, Mary (Daniel) Baer of Blairsville; two sons, Clarence Russell VI and Richard Russell, both of Brockport; two brothers, Richard Russell of Burt, N.Y. and Randy Russell of Ridgway; and one sister, Sharon Russell of Buffalo, N.Y. He is also survived by a half-brother, James (Lori) Krug, of Brockway.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother, Mark Krug.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 15 at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway at 11 a.m. with Pastor Joni Williams officiating.
Memorials, if desired, may to be made to the charity of the donors' choice.
