November 5, 2011

Due to favorable weather, the Christmas decorations will go up along Main Street this weekend.
According to Main Street manager Michelle Bogacki, the Elco Electric Company located along Montmorenci Road had planned to do the installation of the Christmas wreaths and lights on the weekend of Nov. 18.
"Fortunately or unfortunately, the weather has cooperated and they want to do it this weekend due to weather and not have a risk of not having good weather or falling into a couple scenarios getting closer to winter, so this is the weekend that they have targeted," Bogacki said. "I know it's early-- I hate to push away Thanksgiving."
Bogacki will be working on preparing the wreaths and placing the bulbs in place and said that the lights will not be lit until Wednesday, Nov. 23.
