Charles J. Yale, age 63, of 156 Egypt Rd., Brockway, July 20, 2011, at U.P.M.C. - Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
He was born Dec. 26, 1947, in DuBois, son of Velma Yale Holman.
He married Jane Delp on July 7, 1973, she survives.
He was methodist by faith and was a member of both the Brockway and Warsaw Tonwship Sportsmens Clubs. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served during the Vietnam Era
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was retired and was a Boiler Maker for Local 154.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Yale; one son, Charles (Christy) Yale III of Brockway; one daughter, Becky (David) Brown, also of Brockway; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a granddaughter, Ivy Jane.
Visitation will be Friday, July 22 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. Funeral Services will be Saturday, July 23 at 2:30 p.m. at Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. Officiating Clergyman will be Rev. Bruce Burkett. Place of burial will be Temple Cemetery at Hazen.
