Charles D. "Chuck" Klaiber

Charles D. "Chuck" Klaiber, 60, of 1205 Brusselles St., St. Marys, died unexpectedly on Friday, Aug. 16, 2013 at Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys.
He was born Oct. 13, 1952 in St. Marys, a son of the late Herman and Elizabeth Koker Klaiber.
On Aug. 3, 1984 in St. Marys Church, he married Marlene Weichman Klaiber, who survives.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of St. Mary's Church.  He was a member of the Moose Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife of more than 29 years, Marlene Weichman Klaiber, he is survived by a son, Kenneth Schneider and his fiancee Edith Martin of Ridgway; three daughters, Lynette Schneider and her husband Zee Mustafaa of Colombus, Ohio, Tammy, Mrs. Troy Dennison of Alexandria, Va., and Tracey, Mrs. Eric Thompson of Kersey; four grandchildren, Danielle, Simone, Alyse, and Sarah; six step-grandchildren; two sisters, Patricia Irwin of St. Marys and Donna, Mrs. Thomas Goode of St. Marys; a brother, Richard Klaiber and his wife Anna of Altoona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashley Riemer who preceded him in death on June 22, 2013; and three brothers, Joseph, Herman and Robert Klaiber.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Charles D. "Chuck" Klaiber will be celebrated at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Church Street, St. Marys, on Tuesday, Aug, 20, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas More, O.S.B., as celebrant.
Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 N. Michael St., St. Marys tonight from 6-8 p.m.
