Case against driver in 6-fatality crash heads to court

KANE – The criminal case against a Kane woman linked with a horrific six-fatality crash Aug. 31 is headed to McKean County Court.
Kane District Court Judge Dave Engman "bound over" the charges to county court Wednesday following an intense three-hour preliminary hearing in his courtroom.
Kathy S. Douglas, 37, faces 35 charges-- including 15 felonies-- in connection with the Route 219 wreck that killed her 12-year-old daughter, Olivia, her 6-year-old nephew Jarrett Costanzo of Kane, and four members of a St. Marys family.
