Bunny Hop becoming an Easter tradition for many

March 31, 2013

Photo by Becky Polaski – Signs honoring the memory of Becky Frank, SueEllen Paladino, Mag Pauline, and Jane Hnath hang at a pavilion at Benzinger Park during Saturday's 3rd annual Bunny Hop 5k walk/run, which raised money for The Brain Aneurysm Foundation in their honor.

ST. MARYS – When the Frank and Paladino siblings decided to hold a 5k walk/run on the day before Easter three years ago, they simply wanted to honor the memories of their mothers, who had both died from brain aneurysms, and raise funds for The Brain Aneurysm Foundation. They did not realize at the time that they were also starting an event that would become a tradition for a number of area residents.
