Borough looks to new law to fix blighted homes

JOHNSONBURG – Pennsylvania's new Land Bank law has caught the attention of the Borough of Johnsonburg.
On Oct. 24, Governor Tom Corbett signed House Bill 1682, now known as the Land Bank Act, into law. The new legislation is designed to act as a legal tool for municipalities in Pennsylvania to combat blighted and tax delinquent properties.
