The Ridgway Borough Council covered a variety of items on Monday evening's agenda including downtown parking and fines, water sales to oil and gas companies, flood control and recycling.
Council approved a forthcoming plan to add additional parking on South Broad Street in the coming months in order to create more space for those in the area of the courthouse and courthouse annex.
The motion to move forward with the plan was put forth by councilman Frank Quattrone and seconded by J.R. Geitner.
