Beulah F. Yale, 85, of Elk Haven Nursing Home, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011 at Elk Regional Health Center.
She was born May 30, 1925, in Cement, Okla., the daughter of the late Jessie C. and Clara G. Morris Riley.
She had been a Ridgway resident for 60 years. She was a member of the Elk Baptist Church in St. Marys. She was a charter member of the Ridgway Eagles Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and her pets. She had been employed at Clarion Sintered Metals, retiring in 1986.
She is survived by five children, Harvey E. Cannon (Brenda) of Sparks, Okla., Lawrence Cannon (Kathy) of Cameron Park, Calif., Carol Shefcyk (Phil) of Kersey, Steve Gibbs (Susan) of Benicia, Calif., and Patricia Greene (Craig) of Kersey; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Billy Riley (Maxine) of Blanchard, Okla., Kenneth Riley (Pat) of Blanchard, Okla., and Gary Riley (Sharra) of Oklahoma.
Besides her parents. she was preceded in death by three husbands, Glenn Cannon, Harry Gibbs, and Jack L. Yale; a sister, Delpha D. Riley; and a brother, Jack Riley.
A Memorial Service for Beulah F. Yale will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the Elk Baptist Church, 191 Ford Rd., St. Marys, with the Rev. Barry K. Moyer of the Elk Baptist Church officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home of Ridgway.
