Bennett fans 12 as Dutch rally over Rams

May 2, 2014

Cameron Grumley, 2, worked three innings in relief for the Rams on Friday against St. Marys Area, allowing one hit, walking one, and striking out two.

Much of Friday's Elk County Tournament opening round matchup between the St. Marys Area Flying Dutchmen and Johnsonburg Rams was an offensive struggle as the game was scoreless until the bottom of the fifth inning as the Rams were able to push through their lone run. It seemed like that might be the only score of the day as both teams continued to strand base runners, but then the Dutchmen put together an impressive rally in the top of the seventh, coming from behind to win 3-1.
