Barbara Dianne (Marshall) Beers

May 25, 2012

Barbara Dianne (Marshall) Beers, 64, of Coquille, Ore., passed away on May 21, 2012 at her residence after a yearlong illness.
She was born June 4, 1947 in Ridgway, daughter of the late James B. Marshall and Lucille E. (Hostetlar) Marshall of DuBois, who survives.
On May 6, 1967, she married her lifelong partner, James Beers, who survives.
Barbara was a very sweet, loyal and bashful woman who loved and cared for her family very much. She was always there with a helping hand in every way she could even long after her four girls had grown up and began lives of their own. She was known as "Grammy" to all her 11 grandchildren. She had a love for sports as well, but baseball was definitely her favorite of all.
Besides her loving husband, she is survived by four daughters and their families, Rhonda Fry and husband Craig, Tina Johnson and husband Clint, Cindy Barlett and husband Scott and Jaime Whitaker and Brett; and 11 grandchildren.
She is also survived by five siblings, Jame Marshall Jr. and his wife Marilyn of Brookville, Darla Stone and her husband John of Houston, Texas, Grace Huling and husband John, Larry Marshall and his wife Terry, and Lori Marroni and her husband Robert all of Ridgway; a brother-in-law, Jesse Beers of Kersey; and numberless nieces and nephews.
