Authority opens bid for engineering services

JOHNSONBURG – The Johnsonburg Municipal Authority opened bids during Tuesday night's meeting for engineering services as outlined in a consent order and agreement proposed by the Department of Environmental Protection [DEP].
At the July meeting the Authority signed a consent order agreeing to take correction actions due to past violations to comply with the Safe Drinking Water Act.
Ten bids were announced from the following engineering firms: Alfred Benesch & Company; Buchart Horn, Inc.; Gannett Fleming, Inc.; Gwin Dobson & Foreman; Hazen and Sawyer; Herbert Rowland & Gruble, Inc.; Keller Engineers; KLH Engineers, Inc.; Stiffler McGraw and Associates; and Uni-Tec Consulting Engineers.
Bids ranged from $14,400 to $199,500.
