Ardeth O. Lauffenburger

Ardeth O. Lauffenburger, 71, passed into the next life Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, following an extended illness. She was born April 16, 1941, in Warren, to the late Wallace and Florence Fox Outrid.
A 1959 graduate of Warren High School, she had been employed by the Warren Times and the Ruth Smith Center. As a lifelong area resident, Ardeth enjoyed drawing, painting, and crafts, creating numerous plush pets and dolls.
Surviving is her husband of 53 years, Albert Lauffenburger of Sheffield, whom she married June 27, 1959 in Russell; two daughters, Laura Mohney of Sheffield, and Sue Sari and husband Dennis of Ridgway; three sons, Gary Lauffenburger and wife Anna of Sheffield, Wallace Lauffenburger and his wife Peg of Sheffield, and Christopher Lauffenburger and his wife Kristin of Newburgh, Ind.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Knisley of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
