Anthony "Tony" Moscatello

Anthony "Tony" Moscatello, 86, died Monday, August 8, 2011, at his home in Astoria, N.Y.
He was born September 18, 1924 in New York, N.Y., and later moved to Astoria, N.Y., where he resided all his life.
On September 10, 1949, he married Angeline Caggiano Moscatello at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Ridgway. She preceded him in death on April 10, 2007.
Tony and Angie made frequent trips to Ridgway to visit friends and relatives.
He is survived by two sons, Anthony (Rosetta) of Washington Crossing and Robert of Pompano Beach, Fla.; two grandsons, Anthony and Christopher, both of New Jersey; one great-granddaughter, Alyssa; two great-grandsons, Anthony and Christopher; two sisters, Anna and Mary; a brother-in-law, Armond Caggiano and his wife Helene; and two sisters-in-law, Carm Caggiano and Nanette Caggiano.
A Funeral Mass was held for Tony on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Astoria, N.Y. Burial was at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, N.Y.
