2 arrested in Ridgway heroin bust

Tabitha Lynn Young, 39, of Rock Street, Ridgway, and 42-year-old Kimberly Parry of Roadrunner Drive, Marienville, were arrested Thursday and subsequently arraigned in front of on-call Magisterial District Judge Barry Brown of Emporium shortly after midnight on Friday.
Law enforcement officials seized 24 stamp bags of heroin.
Parry is facing a felony charge of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and use/possession of drug paraphernalia, and a third-degree felony charge of criminal use of a communication facility.
Young faces two felony counts of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, and misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and use/possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were unable to post $50,000 and were remanded to the Elk County Prison.
