The funds will be used for a new floor in the old tiled area of the first floor of the building and a new porch.

Employees and volunteers at the Ridgway Public Library are hoping to collect one million pennies as part of a fundraiser designated specifically for a new floor on the first floor of the library and a new porch.
The old tile floor area on the first floor will be redone as well as the wood on the porch outside.
According to Lann Yurchick, the library's director, it has been at least 15 years since the porch was redone.
