JOHNSONBURG – Corporal Greg Agosti, a fire marshal for the Ridgway-based State Police, reported investigating a fire that occurred Sunday afternoon at 236 Blaine Ave. in Johnsonburg.
A brutal storm swept through the area Thursday afternoon leaving some residents without power for upwards of three hours due to winds tearing trees out of the ground and interfering with power lines.
JOHNSONBURG – Area residents are now shaken to the core after the vacant St. Joe's Club in Johnsonburg went up in flames early Monday morning.
The fire, ruled an arson, is the second mysterious fire in four days in Johnsonburg and reportedly broke out shortly after midnight on Monday. Reports indicate the fire started on a second-floor wooden porch and quickly spread throughout the building.
