Ridgway Borough Council on Monday unanimously adopted a $5 million budget for 2012 that keeps taxes the same.
The 2012 budget which includes a general fund of $1,514,332 will keep the tax rate at 14.92 mills.
Council member Ralph Dussia made the motion to adopt the budget.
In other business, borough manager Martin Schuller said restorations of the Pennsy Railroad Station should be completed by May.
"We finally got the train station problem resolved," Schuller said. "The contractor is in the process of repairing the roof."
Monica Lynn Presley, 45, of Morrisville, died Friday, Dec. 16, 2011 as a result of an automobile accident.
Born in Bristol, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Gregory L. Presley and Kathryn (Stevens) Grenz, who survives.
Mrs. Presley had been a resident of Morrisville for over 12 years, moving there from Olanta, Pa. She was employed as an office manager for the Probuild Company in Morrisville, where she had worked for over 10 years.
Michael W. Caylor, 65, of 519 Toby Rd., Kersey, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011 at Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys.
He was born Feb. 15, 1946 near Vandergrift, Pa., a son of Wayne E. and Eleanor I. Morrison Caylor, who survive.

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – Ridgway wrestling took second at the annual Jamestown Holiday Classic on Friday and Saturday.
Ridgway finished with a total of 163 team points and finished as the top team among Pennsylvania participants. Spencerport (N.Y.) was the overall winner with 216 points, the 14th time that school has won the event.
Dennis D. Heindl and the Ridgway community are collaborating to restore the historic train station located along North Broad Street in Ridgway.
According to William Gentilman, Property Manager for the Buffalo & Pittsburgh Railroad, Inc., the building was built the year 1907.
“The station was built the last year the Philadelphia & Erie Railroad was in existence,” said Gentilman. “The line the station is on was a part of the Pennsylvania Railroad section that ran from Erie to St. Marys, and the track is still there.”
The restoration of the building has been nearly 20 years in the making.
BROCKPORT – Brockway Borough Municipal Authority [BBMA] president Mike Arnold discussed the possibility of raising rates to cover the costs for three delinquent accounts in the Elbon area during Wednesday night's Horton Township Supervisors meeting.

After one quarter, Ridgway had the game in hand.
Curwensville was still searching for a basket.
Ridgway opened with a 29-0 lead after the first quarter and was not challenged in a 60-21 win over the Golden Tide Friday night in an AML South game at Ridgway Area High School.
"It's like going out and pitching a perfect game for one quarter," Allegretto said. "They did some good things defensively. I really challenged them. I wasn't real happy with our defense in the Smethport game with our starting five. They went out and tried to fix some things, I was real happy with it."
JOHNSONBURG – The undefeated Rams (3-0) used a strong first half Friday to fiend off a scrappy Sheffield team in a 72-47 victory.
Johnsonburg was fueled by a quintet of stars who combined for 56 points on the night. Johnsonburg junior Quinn Luhr paced all scorers with 18 points; he was followed by sophomores Cole Peterson and Cameron Grumley, who finished with 14 and 13 points, respectively, and junior Kyle Sheldon, who contributed 11 points to the cause.
St. Leo Catholic School students held the second performance of "Touch of An Angel" Friday night in the Social Hall.
Rosalie Mae Glatt, 73, of 20 Mertz Avenue, St. Marys, died Thursday, December 15, 2011 at her home following a lengthy illness.
She was born May 1, 1938 in Johnsonburg, daughter of the late Ralph N. and Ruth St. John Dorio. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Johnsonburg High School, Class of 1956.
On February 2, 1957 in the Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg, she married Andrew Glatt who preceded her in death on September 12, 1995.
