Ridgway boys basketball used a 17-0 second half run to pull away from the Kane Wolves en route to a 63-43 victory Wednesday night as part of Senior Night.
Kane had kept with the Elkers in the first half and trailed 34-30 entering the third quarter. The Elkers then scored 17 straight points to bulge the lead to 21 past the midpoint of the third quarter.
JOHNSONBURG – The Johnsonburg Ramettes (13-5) were on the wrong end of a 9-0 start Wednesday night before righting the ship in time for a come-from-behind 33-28 win against visiting DuBois Central Catholic (8-10).
The Ramettes used a 10-2 run late in the second quarter to take a 20-17 lead to the locker room. Late game theatrics, however, nearly cost Johnsonburg the game.
