Locked in a 4-4 tie, Curwensville junior Cheyenne Geisler launched a second-chance shot into the net with 3:01 remaining in the second overtime period to give the Lady Tide a 5-4 win over Ridgway.

Ridgway started strong and controlled play for much of the match in a 5-0 victory over the Brockway Lady Rovers Wednesday night at Memorial Field in Johnsonburg.

DuBOIS – The Elk County Catholic Lady Crusader doubles duo of Laira Reuscher and Sophie Herzing, both seniors, defeated their cross-town rivals of Aubrey Wiesner and Chelsea Agosti from St. Marys Area 6-2, 6-1 to claim the District 9 Class AA doubles title on Tuesday afternoon at DuBois Area High School.
