June 21, 2011

WILCOX – The Wilcox American Legion baseball team swept a doubleheader against Kane Monday at Jones Township Community Park.
Wilcox won 10-0 in five innings in the first game and then dominated in a 20-2, 5-inning matchup in the nightcap.
"We're just picking up where we left off," Wilcox coach Jeff Peterson said. "We didn't hit real well against Bradford. They're young, they're plugging. I give them credit, they don't quit. They show a lot of character in hanging there."
