St. Marys baseball outslugs Ridgway, 21-11 at Sandy Beach

April 28, 2011

An abundance of offense was on display at Sandy Beach Recreational Park as St. Marys baseball won 21-11 in five innings over Ridgway Thursday afternoon.
St. Marys scored three or more runs in every inning. Ridgway scored in four of its five innings. The 11 runs in the game was Ridgway's largest output of the season.
"We continue to make strides," Ridgway coach Mark Morelli said. "If we continue to make strides, I think we'll be more competitive than we have been lately. If you play St. Marys, you got to hit every inning because they have a good-hitting team."
