JOHNSONBURG – The Elk County Catholic Crusader tennis team handed the Johnsonburg Rams a 7-2 loss Tuesday afternoon at the Johnsonburg courts.
“We played strong today, especially in our singles, in both wins and losses, our guys like to compete. One thing that’s been a positive, especially in our singles, is that if we start out with a good momentum, we tend to keep it through the match’s entirety, which helps a lot with on-court confidence,” said ECCHS coach Nick Caggiano.
At first singles, J. P. Allegretto of the Rams defeated Shane Mancuso 6-2, 7-6 (7-4).
