JOHNSONBURG – Johnsonburg softball swept a doubleheader with Sheffield Thursday at Knothole Area Recreational Park.
The Ramettes won 13-12 in eight innings then followed up with a 19-0 win in three innings.
"They really were doing well at hitting," Johnsonburg coach Melissa Myers said. "Our girls were coming around. That's what I've been wanting to see them do. We had a couple errors in the first game, I think that's what kept the game close. You try to work all the girls in and give them a chance. We stuck with it and pulled through."
