March 14, 2011

HERSHEY – Corey Bush of Ridgway finished eighth at 119 pounds at the PIAA Individual Wrestling Championships which concluded Saturday at Giant Center in Hershey.
“My goal was to finish higher, but a medal is pretty good,” Bush said.
It is Bush’s second state medal after a fourth-place finish last year at 103 pounds.
“It’s rare to get two and still have a shot at another one next year,” Gerber said. “I told him, 'Let’s do this again next season and finish higher up the podium.' It’s well within his reach and he works hard, I think it can happen.”
