The Elk County Catholic boys soccer team took control early and were dominant in a 9-0 victory over Ridgway Thursday afternoon at Francis S. Grandinetti Elementary School.
The game was delayed for a hour because only one referee showed up for the game and the delay was done until a second referee could get to the site. The game started at 5 p.m. and a full 40-minute first half was played but there was only a 3-minute halftime and a 30-minute second half before the game was called due to darkness.
