Thomas J. Freemer, age 76, of Burt Street in DuBois, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
He was born on Feb. 3, 1934 in Brockway. He was the son of the late Joseph E. & Mary V. (Gladish) Freemer.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving six years.
On Sept. 12, 1964 at St. Leo Roman Catholic Church in Ridgway, he married Patricia R. (Shipe) Freemer. She survives.
Gary E. Dias, 61, of Ridgway, died Jan. 28, 2011, at Elk Regional Health Center following a lengthy illness.
He was born May 8, 1949 on Mother’s Day in Ridgway, the son of the late Eugene Charles and Lucille Evelyn Shilk Dias.
On Jan. 22, 1970, he married Vicki Ann Ryan, who survives, at Faith United Church of Christ.

Harry A. Detwiler, 90, of 216 Depot St., Ridgway, died peacefully on Jan. 21, 2011.
He was born at home in Johnsonburg on May 25, 1920, son of the late John M. and Bessie (Stine) Detwiler.
He married Audrey Geyer on Oct. 8, 1942. She preceded him in death on Sept. 21, 2004 after 61 years of marriage.
He had resided in Ridgway for most of his life and was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church. Up until his death, he was active in the Regional Advisory Board and Governing Board of the Office of Human Services, most recently serving as president.
Donna M. Hulings, 71, of 26 West Virginia Ave., James City, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, at Elk Regional Health Center.
Born September 17, 1939, in Coal Hill, she was a daughter of Frederick and Doris Oyler Edinger. On April 14, 1956, in James City, she married John Hulings, who survives.
Paul D. Schultz Sr., 63, of 8166 Shiloh Road, Woodland, and a former Wilcox resident, died unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 24, 2011 at the Clearfield Hospital.
He was born Sept. 23, 1947, in Ridgway, son of the late Michael John and Josephine Bullers Schultz Sr.
On May 26, 1973, in the Queen of the World Church, he married Mary M. Greenthaner, who survives.
He was a lifelong resident of Wilcox until moving to Woodland three years ago. He was a graduate of Johnsonburg High School, Class of 1965.
Robert McDivitt, 66, formerly of Johnsonburg, Kane and West Springfield, passed away Monday Jan. 24, 2011, at the home of his daughter in Torrington, Conn., surrounded by his loved ones.

Robert M. "Herky" Colgan, age 79, of 451 Rattlesnake Rd., Brockway, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, at DuBois Regional Medical Center.
He was born March 17, 1931, in Brockway to Doyle and Mary Harvey Colgan.
On April 9, 1951, he married Patricia Siple, she survives.
He was a member of the Lanes Mills U.M. Church, a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Sugar Hill Grange and the Toby Creek Watershed Association. He also belonged to the National Rifle Association.

Mary Mulhern Trambley Schreiber, 84, died at The Washington Home in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 21, 2011 after years of declining health.
January 21st
Agatha D. “Gay” Bleggi, 90, of 515 High Ave., St. Marys, died peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday morning, Jan. 19, 2011, at the Elk Haven Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 8, 1920, in St. Marys, daughter of the late Frank and Lucy Weinzierl Daniels.
On Jan. 14, 1947, in the St. Mary’s Church, she married Leo L. Bleggi, who preceded her in death on June 23, 1962.
Bret P. Cooney, 30, of 9008 Maple St., Pittsburgh, and formerly of Wilcox, died early Thursday morning, Jan. 20, 2011 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville as the result of a drilling rig accident that occurred Jan. 14 near Scranton.
He was born March 1, 1980 in St. Marys, the son of Charles P. and Jean Bauer Cooney, who survive.
