Hazel A. (Peachie) King, 87, of Monterey Avenue, Ridgway, died Friday evening, Aug. 30, 2013.
She was born in Ridgway on Nov. 3, 1925, daughter of the late Leo and Martha (Zurcher) Allinger.
She was married to Jack W. King who preceded her in death in July of 1973.
Mrs. King graduated from Ridgway High School in 1943, attended West Penn Hospital School of Nursing and graduated as a registered nurse in 1946. She was employed as a private duty nurse for several years and worked at the Elk County General Hospital for many years, retiring in 1980.
Richard G. Mendat, 81, DuBois, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at Christ The King Manor, DuBois.
There was no public visitation. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Carmela T. (Millie) Caggiano, age 79, of 517 Montmorenci Ave., Ridgway, died Tuesday evening, Aug. 20, 2013 at her residence following a brief illness.
James E. Reiter, 85, of Brownell Drive, Rasselas, died Monday, Aug. 19, 2013 at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh after a lengthy illness.
He was born Feb. 17, 1928 in Philipsburg, son of the late James Earl and Jean (Price) Reiter Sr.
On May 2, 1948 he married Naoma (Thompson), and she survives.
He was born and raised in Philipsburg and has lived in Rasselas since 1973. He was a graduate of Philipsburg High School, Class of 1946.
He served in U.S. Navy during WWII and was honorably discharged in 1948 with a Seaman Apprentice, Music Striker rating.
Louis R. Morelli, 103, formerly of 313 Ash St., Ridgway, died Aug, 14, 2013 at Ridgmont, surrounded by his family.
He was born July 28, 1910, in Coal Hollow, the son of Narciso and Alma Morelli.
He was the oldest of five siblings who preceded him in death.
Charles D. "Chuck" Klaiber, 60, of 1205 Brusselles St., St. Marys, died unexpectedly on Friday, Aug. 16, 2013 at Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys.
He was born Oct. 13, 1952 in St. Marys, a son of the late Herman and Elizabeth Koker Klaiber.
On Aug. 3, 1984 in St. Marys Church, he married Marlene Weichman Klaiber, who survives.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of St. Mary's Church.Â He was a member of the Moose Club and enjoyed hunting, ï¬shing, and playing cards.Â Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Joy Marie Farley, 58, of 252 S. Paul Rd., St. Marys, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013 following a short illness at UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie.
She was born Oct. 24, 1954 in St. Marys, a daughter of Avis Schauer Neubert of St. Marys and the late Charles Neubert.
On May 16, 1981 in Queen of the World Church, she married Stephen Farley, who survives.
Benjamin M. Racusin, 98, a resident of Fraser Health Center died on Aug. 11, 2013 on Hilton Head Island. He was born on May 19, 1915 in Johnsonburg, the son of the late Carla and Max Racusin.
He was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Helen Schuler Racusin in 2011.
Ben Racusin led an intriguing life by giving service to his community, as a leader, a statesman, a former military officer serving in China with the CIA and as the first mayor of the town of Hilton Head Island.
Emanuela Costanzo, 89, of 314 First Avenue, Johnsonburg, died at her residence on Tuesday evening, Aug. 13, 2013, following a lengthy illness.
She was born June 23, 1924 in Platania, Italy, daughter of the late Carlo and Giovana Perri.
On Feb. 27, 1947 she married Michele Costanzo, and he survives.
Formerly of Italy, she resided in Johnsonburg since 1953.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Church and she loved baking and gardening. She was employed by Caldwell Decorators in Ridgway for several years. She had also worked as a seamstress for most of her life.
Michael J. Kennedy, 19, of 641 East Center St., Johnsonburg, died early Sunday morning, Aug. 11, 2013 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Kane.
Born Aug. 21, 1993 in Kronach, Germany, he was the son of Joseph C. and Tanja L. Kirch Kennedy.
A 2012 graduate of Johnsonburg High School, he was employed by Kane Manufacturing.Â Michael belonged to Tabor Lutheran Church in Kane, the Grey Knights Drum & Bugle Corps in Johnsonburg, and had been a member of the Ruffed Grouse Society.
