Robert Clair Rishel, 84, of Shenango Presbyterian Senior Care in New Wilmington, formerly of New Bedford, Lawrence County, died Tuesday morning Sept. 25, 2012. He was born Nov. 16, 1927 in Rossiter, Indiana County, son of late Thomas and Minnie [Woodley] Rishel. On July 20, 1948, he married Mae Jean Wyant of Shenango Presbyterian Senior Care, she survives.
Alfred (Al) Caldwell Sr., of 10618 Timberlin Rd., Chesterfield, Va., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Aug. 17, 2012.
Born on June 3, 1936, in Johnsonburg, he was the son of the late Hudnell and Lula (DeLong) Caldwell. He was married to Gail K. Caldwell, who survives.
Al graduated from Johnsonburg High School in 1954. He then enlisted in the United States Army and served for three years. After leaving the service, he was employed at the Ubel Furniture Store in Johnsonburg and later at Grimone’s Furniture Store in Emporium.
