Dorethea M. Moore, age 87, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012 at DuBois Regional Medical Center.
She had been a resident at Highland View Health Care in Brockway.
She was born June 25, 1925 in Brandy Camp to Sam and Cora Shaffer Bennett.
She married Foster L. Moore who preceded her in death on June 4, 1996.
She was a member of the Lighthouse Community Church in Brockway.
Dorethea was a homemaker who enjoyed canning vegetables and taking care of her home.
Helen M. Detwiler, 97, formerly of Johnsonburg and Kane, died Monday evening, Sept. 24, 2012 at Sena Kean Manor in Smethport.
Born July 8, 1915 in Johnsonburg, she was the daughter of John and Bessie Detwiler.Â
She attended college at Penn State and in Indiana, Pa., and was employed as a teacher and counselor for many years for the Johnsonburg School District, retiring in 1976.Â
