Ruby Gibbs, 95, passed away in the afternoon of Wednesday, May 2 at Glens Falls Hospital in Glens Falls, N.Y.
Ruby was born March 14, 1917 in Ridgway, the daughter of the late Lee and Anne Bowers Gier.
Ruby was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Robert Gibbs, on July 15, 1993, and her siblings, Cecile Johnson, Grace Cyone, Pearl Plaster, Amos Gier, Aloysius Gier and Virginia Stauffer.
Ruby and Bob were former owners of Rest-A-Y-L Restaurant and Bar in Newcomb, N.Y.
