Anthony “Tony” Joseph Marcolivio, 95, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2012 at Kerner Ridge Assisted Living in Kernersville, N.C.
Born in Ridgway on Feb. 9, 1917, he was one of seven children and the eldest son of the late Giuseppe and Michalina Marcolivio. Following graduation from Ridgway High School, he entered the U.S. Postal Service as a rural route carrier in Ridgway. On Jan. 21, 1942, he married his wife, Monica Joyce Largey. The two were married for 69 years until her death in 2011.
