Joanne B. Hoffman, 78, of 1935 Bear Creek Rd., died following Wednesday evening, Nov. 14, 2012, at the home of her daughter following an illness of the past nine months.
She was born July 25, 1934 in Ridgway, daughter of the late Earl T. and Marie P. [Baumgratz] Steis.
She married David L. Young on Dec. 10, 1953, he preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 1988; she then married James A. Hoffman on Feb. 14, 1990, and he survives.
Clare “Tootie” Jefferson Ciroli, 96, passed away quietly in Sarah Reed Retirement Center, Erie, at 11:53 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012.
Tootie was born Jan. 31, 1916, one of 10 children to the late Leota and Thomas Jefferson of Sheffield.
She was a good friend to everyone she met and enjoyed her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Ciroli of Cleveland, Ohio.
